CAN YOU HEAR THE MUSIC

Picture
With vibrant illustrations by Simone Wolowiec, CAN YOU HEAR THE MUSIC is about a young boy and his love of music. Follow him on his adventures as he describes the wonderful sights and sounds he encounters and the beautiful music he hears. The book hopes to encourage children's imagination and their appreciation and love for the beauty all around them, including music. Music is the universal language. It doesn’t matter where the music comes from, who or what created it, even if it simply comes from within. Children need to cultivate and share our universal language. It holds the power to bring us all together. CAN YOU HEAR THE MUSIC is perfect for young readers and for adults to read to their little ones. REMEMBER THE 27 CRUSADERS - SOUNDTRACK
Picture
REMEMBER THE 27 CRUSADERS is a feature length documentary film, directed by Shawn Swords. The film recounts the lives, military service and deaths of 27 American service members who served in Vietnam that graduated from Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia. Father Judge High School suffered more fatalities in Vietnam than any other Catholic High School in America. Seven of Bill's songs (two of them co-written with Karen Loveless), are featured in the film. Bill's song, "27", is the title track. The documentary explores the lives and deaths of the 27 Father Judge students and the communities/parishes where they grew up. The film reviews the prevalent sense of duty, honor and patriotism in those communities, the values instilled at Father Judge and their service in Vietnam. The documentary reveals the devastating impact of the deaths on their families and the difficult process of mourning, healing and acknowledgement of their heroism. The narrative is driven by interviews with family, friends, classmates, Father Judge staff, brothers in arms and military.
